Red Dirt Skinners: In 2013, the Red Dirt Skinners became the first band in history to succeed at both the British Blues Awards and the British Country Music Awards, but don't let this impressive accolade pigeonhole their music for you; they've also just been nominated at the UK Americana awards.

Drawing on influences as diverse as Acker Bilk and ACDC, this unique duo are breaking all the rules and creating a whole new sound. The Red Dirt Skinners are Rob and Sarah Skinner, who formed the band after their marriage in 2012. Between them, Rob and Sarah have both played in numerous bands, spanning numerous genres and cite their keenness to experiment with different genres as the reason behind their unique genre-defying sound.
